1. Agreement to these Terms

By using Day Planner by MyKey (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Who runs the app

The app is developed and owned by MyKey Consulting Services LLC, Bothell, Washington, United States. Email: hello@mykeyplans.com.

3. What the app does

Day Planner by MyKey helps individuals with autism and other disabilities, and the people who support them, plan and move through the day. It includes visual schedules, a communication board, behavior and communication tracking, sensory and calming tools, task analysis, social stories, video models, token boards, reports, a caregiver portal and team chat.

4. An educational support tool, not professional advice

The app is an educational support tool. It does not give medical, legal, therapeutic or financial advice. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it does not replace an IEP, a behavior plan, a doctor, a behavior analyst, a speech-language pathologist, an occupational therapist or any other qualified professional. Behavior data, charts and reports are for your own planning and may contain mistakes. Stories, pictures, task steps and reports made with AI help can also be wrong. Review them before you use them.

5. Not for emergencies

Do not rely on the app in an emergency. The Help Me button, calm plans and communication board are supports, not emergency services, and they may not work without power, sound or an internet connection. If someone is in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.

6. Who can use the app

You must be 18 or older to create an account, or be 13 or older and have permission from a parent or guardian. For a child under 13, a parent or guardian sets up and manages the account. Only add information about another person if you are that person's parent, guardian or caregiver, or you have their permission.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to break the law
• Harass, threaten or harm anyone, including in team chat
• Add or share another person's private information, photos or recordings without permission
• Use the app to punish, shame or watch someone in a way that harms them
• Try to break into, overload or copy data from the app
• Share your sign-in details or caregiver password with people who should not have them

8. Your content

You own what you create and upload. You are responsible for it and for having permission to use any photos, recordings and names in it. We may remove content or close accounts that break these Terms.

9. Ending your use

You may stop using the app at any time. To have your account removed, email hello@mykeyplans.com.

10. Limits on our liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes. To the fullest extent the law allows, MyKey Consulting Services LLC is not liable for lost data or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages that come from using the app. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to $100.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States.

12. Changes to these Terms

If we change these Terms, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new Terms.
